Location from the Kruger Park is a short drive down the road from the Numbi gate to enter the Kruger was great and the drive through Numbi wasn't as scary as I was worried about , there is security all down that stretch I felt very comfortable all the way to the lodge and can comfortably say there is need to worry about this factor. We didnt go.

Numbi Gate is in the south-western section of Kruger National Park. It's a good gate to enter the park by if you're heading towards Skukuza Rest Camp (which a lot of people are, as it's the biggest camp in the park!). The nearest accommodation to the gate however, is Pretoriuskop Rest Camp. This camp is only a distance of 9km (6 miles) away.
